I compared the idea with 2 applications from the field of treating a sick person.
The features I have chosen in my opinion reflect the daily activity in the user's application, and in addition features that really solve problems during the day to day.

In terms of ease of use

LEVSTON really far behind, the design is very old fashioned , which makes you feel for a moment "what's going on here?"

They did create big buttons because this is an application for use by the lonely elderly person who lives alone,

but they did not think about the fact that not everything is important, and not everything should be straight in the application.

In my application, after thinking and talking with users, I understood correctly that what is important to be accessible on the home screen is the possibility of immediate communication, therefore, at the beginning of the screen I put icons of the people who share the diary in order to create quick communication with one click.

Of course, the list of tasks for that current day also appears, as well as the option to choose another day during that week.

Of course, the list of tasks for that current day also appears, as well as the option to choose another day during that week.

The process of adding a task and confirming it

In LEVSTONE the process is long and tedious, there is no shortcut button that leads you to add a task, to add a task to the diary you have to make a lot of clicks.

In addition, on the screen of the task itself, they created a long process consisting of 6 tabs, which of course hurts the user's experience, and they simply do not want to continue the process. And of course there is information that is not relevant to this part.

Another thing, the list that is created is a continuous list according to the order in which the data is added to it. There are tasks that have been added, there are data on the battery, when the user enters the application... these are data that should be taken into account, but of course they should not be with the daily tasks that the older person has to perform.

In the BETTERCARE application, from the information on the website and other channels, you can see what their screens look like, and how processes are carried out there.

It can be clearly understood that they use icons to solve the language problem between therapists. They note that since the therapists do not speak the language of the patients or the existing medical staff, the icons help create a language that is easy to understand. Each task is characterized by an icon and is also confirmed by V or X markers and not by words. There is thinking here about the users and their main problem.

In my application I did try to shorten the process of adding the task to a few individual fields, but I allowed the insertion of broad information because there are complex tasks. What I will take for improvement is the use of icons as a solution for clear communication.

In addition, following interviews, I realized that there is a difficulty in communication in terms of understanding the therapist's language, and also that you constantly have to use several apps to manage the follow-up of the tasks.

That's why I created a process where in my application there is an option to send specific messages about the tasks in the diary and in addition an option to translate the messages with the click of a button. Which instantly solves the lack of understanding of the text, and each party can write in a language they understand.

In LEVSTONE, you can send a message to the person who shares the diary, but again it goes into a sort of general list of actions that are carried out in the diary and we will not send a specific message to a certain person.

BETTERCARE has a communication system between the family and the therapists and doctors to follow up and ask questions.

In India there is a language called Pali which has a word "metta" which means loving-kindness.

and in English "pellet" information from a computer that is received on the screen or in a printout.

In conclusion: that the tasks (pelet) that are done out of generosity of heart (metta) out of good .

And of course in Israel a carer - referring to a person who cares after needing his help.

a lot of problems and difficulties arose.

  1. Do you experience difficulty in following the tasks? And how is this expressed?

  1. Do you experience difficulty communicating with the therapist? If so, what tools do you use to

Questions

Difficulty in communication

The user wants regular updates on their loved one's condition, and the lack of communication and understanding can cause anxiety and frustration. The product should make it possible to understand the language of the therapists so that they can receive accurate information.

Difficulty following through on tasks

Families may experience frustration when they are not near their loved one, to make sure that proper and adapted care is indeed done for him. The product should show the daily tasks in a simple way and in addition a simple process for the caregiver to approve the tasks.

Instability

Many families experience stress due to a large turnover of caregivers for their loved ones, every time a new therapist arrives, the therapeutic and medication information must be explained again, this may lead to harm to the patient, disruptions in routine tasks and a feeling of uncertainty for both the patient and his family.

In the product itself, all the information should be presented in an easy-to-understand manner to help convey the therapeutic information quickly.

Major difficulties that stood out among all the interviewees on the therapeutic issue
